We specifically and intentionally make our soaps with the highest quality ingredients available. Whenever possible we use the organic and virgin versions of the oils and butters. Our herbs and other botanicals are derived from wildcrafted, organic and/or from our own garden where we practice organic growing methods. Our essential oils are obtained from a reliable source and we choose EcoCert when that is available to us. We infuse our own herb oils to retain as much of the natural "live" properties as we can.
We use science, education, intuition and love to create beauty for your skin.

Our Story

From earliest childhood, I have enjoyed "making things". Taking yarns and turning them into woven, knitted, crocheted or needle pointed items was always a pleasure. Gardening, herbs and herbal lore delighted my senses and my intellect. Through out the 60's, I became interested in ecology and the "back to the earth" movement which was quite popular at the time. For me, this became a life time of learning. Taking courses in herbalism and aromatherapy, as well as living the "alternative" life style that included making everything yourself.
